Why join?

The people who have initiated this effort are people like you. They have jobs and lives as well. Joining this effort is not a 24/7 endeavour. We all are concerned about the state of affairs of this country. We have had our fill of drawing room conversations. When we actually think of doing something concrete though we become helpless. Most of us can’t enter politics because we know politics unfortunately in this country isn’t a noble profession. It also has been monopolised by a few families. There’s no platform where we can do our bit while continuing with our daily lives. Giving charity is fine. What makes us different from the rest of the organisations is that we are more ambitious and we have a vision. Improving a school in one locality is good though not enough. We want our projects to be part of pieces of a puzzle, which eventually will lead to a comprehensive and irreversible change in the fortunes of this country.

Structure:

We wish people wherever they are to join up Pakistan Rising and start doing whatever they can. We believe in having a decentralised organisation in the sense that we will provide you with the tools with which you can start your own chapter of Pakistan Rising. You can recruit members; raise funds have meetings and identify projects in your own local area that you feel fits the criteria set by our board of governors. Our website www.pakistanrising.com.pk will be the central location where everything will come together. It will be a highly informative as well as interactive website. For example guidelines for types of projects will be there. Material for awareness campaigns will be there. One by one we will become a swarm. A swarm that will transform this country for the better.
